ACADEMIC COLLABORATIONS
Immersive learning experiences
transforming
fashion-textile education through pluriversal perspectives
on sustainability.
The Approach
Weaving together diverse onto-epistemologies grounded in a pluriverse, I create learning environments that challenge and transform modern fashion-textile paradigms through place, relationality, sovereignty and wholeness.
Drawing from extensive doctoral research and industry experience, my workshops, lectures and immersions engage participants in experiential, embodied, and contemplative methods that encourage delinking and unlearning from detrimental modern fashioning practices. My methodology emerges from these foundations, weaving together place-sourced learning, knowledge-sharing circles, and deep material inquiry to create transformative educational experiences.
Through experimentation and collective exploration, we sit in ambiguity and emergence, fostering spaces where new possibilities can unfold toward regenerative and relational fashion-textile futures.
This work bridges pluriversal design, transformative learning, and ecological philosophy to create holistic approaches in fashion-textile pedagogies. Through deep ecological understanding and systems thinking, we integrate decolonial perspectives, ancient wisdom, and embodied learning practices that can inspire and transform participants' relationship with their praxis.
Learning Topics & Formats
Learning topics range from explorations of pluriversal fashion-textile and embodied approaches to sustainability, through to engagements with place-sourced and relational fashion-textile praxis. Other topics include regenerative fashion-textile practices, decolonial perspectives, ontological redirections, contemplative design methods, and transformative learning for fashion-textile and design education.
Experiences are offered as 1-2 hour lectures, half-day workshops (2-4 hours), full-day intensives (6-8 hours), and multi-day immersions (2-5 days).
Each format can be tailored to align with your institution's specific needs, context, and visions, each format accommodating both intimate and larger groups.
